Overview


Khanqah,Khaniqah (also transliterated as Khanqa, and Khaneqa Persian: خانگاه Khanegah and خانقاه Khaneghah), ribat, zawwiyya,

or tekke is a building designed specifically for gatherings of a Sufi brotherhood, or tariqa, and is a place for spiritual retreat and character reformation.

Khairiyyah, named after Khaja Abil Khair Atthani Abdual Ghani Hamzah, hence Khanqah Khairiyyah was named.

Located at No.426 Siglap Road, Singapore, on a Muslim cemetery ground surrounded by lush greenery and fauna

and private residences' for neighbors. Adjoined to the Shrine of Khaja - e - Khajagan Khaja Habibullah Shah, Qaderi Chishti,

Suharwardi, Naqshaband and Sanusiyyah orders' (QSA) the Khanqah was established on the burial of

Grandshaykh Khaja Habibullah Shah on 31st October 1971 (11th Ramadhan 1391).
